One bite and you’ll understand what all the fuss is about – a TROPICAL FRUIT SALAD enhanced with the flavour and fragrance of rosewater… fantastic!

There are many elements to this fresh TROPICAL FRUIT SALAD that make it wonderful. Here are our top three:

1) FRUIT – We love the combination of pineapple, papaya, mango and pomegranate. Speak with your produce or fruit purveyor and ask them to guide you to pieces of fruit that are fully ripened; this is essential to the desired flavour profile.

2) FLAVOUR ENHANCER – Adding a flavour enhancer – in this case a liquid mixture – boosts the taste of the fresh fruit. The enhancer for this salad includes honey for a subtle sweetness. Feel free to adjust the amount of honey to your salad to your personal taste.

3) ROSEWATER – I also included rosewater in the flavour enhancer as a way of coaxing the sweetness from the fruit. This heady-fragranced ingredient is unique and especially memorable in the salad. I’m hoping your favourite grocery store carries this ingredient in their ethnic or specialty food section.

Prepare this TROPICAL FRUIT SALAD and enjoy a truly unique flavour journey. It’s like sending your taste buds on a tropical holiday!
