After the success of his Bloody Caesar, Peter Remus returns with an amazing smoothie recipe!

Want to start your Weekend at the Cottage with something healthy and refreshing? Try this recipe for a SUPER SMOOTHIE!

This vegan-friendly super smoothie is chock full of antioxidants, fibre and vitamins. It’s also very easy to prepare and will have you strutting your bathing-suit-ready body down on the dock in no time. I say this from experience.

Here are a few tips to ensure complete success when you try this:

1) Peel and then freeze your ripe bananas the night before you intend to prepare.

2) Wash, rinse and dry your spinach really well to remove sand and grit.

3) Always keep quantities of the other ingredients on hand as you’ll be making this super smoothie over and over again.

My number one, most important tip of all: Wait until everyone is awake before firing up the blender. We purchased a VITAMIX a few years back and love how perfectly it works – it’s loud but sure does make a fabulous smoothie! Regarding making early morning noise, let’s face it, you don’t want to be that guest!

Your svelte body awaits! Try this SUPER SMOOTHIE today!
