Is it just us, or did February zip by in the blink of an eye?

Between Valentine’s Day, Super Bowl Sunday and our jam-packed production and events calendar, we barely had time to enjoy the frigid temperatures and all the snow. NOT! One thing’s for sure – like you, we’re ready for spring!

With the days getting longer, we’re starting to get excited about the warmer weather and the many things we have planned for March and beyond.

On to this, our MARCH 2018 NEWSLETTER!

SMOOTH OPERATOR GIVEAWAY

Make sure to visit our website on Monday, March 12 when we announce the details of our next contest giveaway. We’re partnering with one of our favourite retailers, and one lucky winner will receive a kitchen appliance that we love using… a VITAMIX blender! ST. LAWRENCE MARKET

Carol and I will be back at St. Lawrence Market on Saturday, March 24 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. offering refreshing samples of our favourite smoothie recipes. We’ll be in the south kitchen of the Farmer’s Market, located in the white tent out back of the large building (Esplanade and Lower Jarvis). Please drop by and say hi before you head off to purchase the city’s finest ingredients for the upcoming Easter weekend.

Speaking of Easter, here are some recipes perfect for this special occasion.

If you’re doing a sit-down meal, we suggest starting with our flavourful CREAM OF ASPARAGUS SOUP. After that, why not make something truly memorable like NANNY’S BAKED HAM or our crowd favourite, ROASTED LEG OF LAMB.

Serve either of these mains with POTATO AND JERUSALEM ARTICHOKE GRATIN, our bright tating ROASTED ASPARAGUS WITH WATERMELON RADISH SLAW and a HEALTHY CHOPPED SALAD WITH KALE.

And what better way to end this glorious meal than with our LEMON MERINGUE PIE? Here’s hoping you have a memorable holiday get-together.
