In case you missed it, that was January!

Whew, talk about flying by; last month feels like a blur. Perhaps it’s to be expected considering we have wondrous things in the works and a ton of balls in the air. Fear not though, Carol and I can juggle these tasks since we love working at a clipping pace; we’re like two magicians on the circus’ centre stage, feeling pumped to create some serious magic!

On to this, our FEBRUARY 2018 NEWSLETTER!

We wanted to thank everyone for their patience as we worked through a few kinks on the website. We finally got to the bottom of the problem some visitors were having leaving comments on our posts. The comment sections on all of our posts are operating properly now, so comment away and let’s get the conversation started!

This month we’re hoping you can help us reach an important goal on YouTube: to be ranked as a preferred channel. We need to boost our numbers over the next 28 days, so now is the perfect time to catch up on all the recipes you missed – something fun to do during a cold and snowy February afternoon!

To help us reach our YouTube goal, you can:

1) Subscribe to our YouTube Channel (if you haven’t already).

2) Head to the channel to watch all the great recipe videos we’ve posted over the past few months. Add them to your playlist, give them a thumbs-up and drop us a few comments.

3) Finally, everyone loves to hear about a great recipe, so share our videos with your friends, family, co-workers, neighbours, mail carrier, Uber driver… you get the picture!

They say the only way to get what you want is to ask for it, so we just went ahead and did it. Thanks for helping us reach this important YouTube goal!

Here are links to last month’s most popular posts. Our CLASSIC REUBEN SANDWICH is easy to prepare and very satisfying, while our BUTTER CHICKEN CHILI recipe is quickly becoming everyone’s go-to, surefire way to get their party started. Looking for something sweet? Try our must-have MARASCHINO CHERRY POUND CAKE. Don’t forget to check out our list of uber-healthy ingredients you need to be eating – they’re all there in our 18+ SALAD PRIMER.

February may be the shortest month of the year but that doesn’t mean we’re short of delicious ideas to warm up your February days. Stay tuned for a classic TUNA CASSEROLE, a soon-to-be-famous RADICCHIO, FENNEL AND POMEGRANATE SALAD WITH WASABI DRESSING, plus ideas for Valentine’s Day and Oscar night.

Speaking of Valentine’s Day, who wouldn’t enjoy receiving a gorgeous arrangement of fresh flowers like the ones featured in the above photo? They are made-to-order by our friends Douglas and Michael at DMF FLOWERS. Head HERE to visit their website and order some flowers for your favourite sweetheart. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, yes, they also created the stunning all-white flowers we photographed for the banner of this newsletter. What’s another way to say stunning and gorgeous? We say DMF FLOWERS!

Join us for our next Facebook LIVE on Thursday, March 1 at noon EST. Why? We’ll be announcing our next, and perhaps best contest to date. Seriously, you don’t want to miss this one – wait until you hear what you could win during our MARCH MADNESS GIVEAWAY! Tune in and find out!

As always, we’d love to hear from you. Post a comment or send a message directly and also look for us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

We’d also love to hear about any requests you might have for upcoming posts. Please send us an e-mail with your story suggestions!

Happy hearts!

Nik and Carol
