Anyone looking for some EASY KID-FRIENDLY RECIPES?

How about some food and drink ideas for all of the junior foodies in our midst? Give your youngsters a shout and tell them we’ve got something they’re going to love – these are EASY KID-FRIENDLY RECIPES!

DAGWOOD SANDWICH

It’s one of our most popular sandwich recipe posts, and kids just can’t get enough. There’s something incredible about a simple, classic BLT amped up with a fried egg, melted cheese and a swipe of mayo.

MACARONI AND CHEESE

This dish is extra special thanks to the use of three different kinds of cheese. Although it’s often served as a side with our GRILLED CHICKEN or BREADED PORK CHOPS, kids like it all by itself served with a dollop of ketchup. Yum!

RICH TOMATO SAUCE

This recipe gets top marks for ease of preparation, but we especially like the various ways to serve it. The kids in our crowd love it spooned onto buttered noodles, added to potato skins or spread across pizza dough.

LIZA’S CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

Lots of reasons why this recipe ranks way up there for kids – they’re loaded with wonderful chocolaty flavour, are gluten-free (what?) and you can leave the walnuts out if you’re concerned with nut allergies. Fair warning – best to double the recipe as these will quickly disappear.

CHEEKY MONKEY SMOOTHIE

No surprise really that kids refill their glasses with this banana-based smoothie, blended with almond butter, dates and almond milk. Although adding protein powder turns it into a great post-workout drink for adults, leave it out if you’re making it for kids.

SLOPPY JOES

This recipe for SLOPPY JOES always works and when it’s kids enjoying it, prepare to get messy. We’ve found spooning these onto mini buns are especially fun if you’re serving them up for a birthday party, game night or any other kid-focused get together.

ROASTED GARLIC CHEESEBREAD

This cheese bread is extra oozy and gooey and all of our taste-testing kids agreed, it goes perfect with lasagna, chicken fingers, tomato soup and chili. Of course, we weren’t surprised when these hungry kids told us they also love it just by itself.

NORTH AMERICAN BREAKFAST WRAP

Need a quick and easy breakfast idea your kids will enjoy? Try our simple breakfast wrap filled with favourite ingredients like scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese and tomato. You better make a few extra – grown-up kids love them too!

Hope you and your kids enjoy these suggestions for our EASY KID-FRIENDLY RECIPES. Expect full tummies, big smiles and requests for seconds because these recipes are 100% kid approved!
