I can’t tell you how exciting it is to finally type these words – HAPPY SPRING!
Although we’ve had a relatively mild winter, I’m over it. The thought of warm weather brings to mind one important thing: it’s almost cottage season.
We have so many exciting things in the works that we can hardly wait to share them with you, our dear friends. Here’s what’s coming up:
We have loads of delicious food, tasty drinks and entertaining tips on deck, including some of my favourite things like a lesson on SPRING FLOWER ARRANGING, Nanny’s famous BAKED HAM, my family’s recipe for a traditional Serbian EASTER BREAD, a crumbly never-fail COFFEE CAKE and so much more. Stay tuned for some seriously fabulous and wonderful things!
I recently went on a trip down south and reconnected with my friend Sue Henderson. Carol and I have just finished our plans for June, which we’re dedicating to Canada’s 150th birthday. We have great food and drink recipes in the works, plus some amazing special interest stories sure to make our fellow Canadians both happy, proud and thankful. Stay tuned as we get closer to our celebration and make sure to read our May newsletter – we’ll have a very special announcement in partnership with our friends, Arts at Work!
