Dear friends,

It’s been awhile since our last newsletter because we’ve been busy with some big and exciting changes here at Weekend at the Cottage! I hinted at this back in May, and now we’re ready to share all the new features with you.

NEW AND IMPROVED WEBSITE

After carefully considering and reviewing your feedback, we decided to shift our focus and concentrate more on creating delicious, healthy and easy-to-prepare food and beverage recipes. Everything is more intuitive and user-friendly to navigate, with compact recipe instructions and a larger, fullscreen orientation.

Two new features we’re especially proud of on the site are the addition of recipe VIDEOS and an improved SEARCH FUNCTION!

We’re shooting new VIDEOS both in the city and up at the cottage with the goal of attaching these helpful tips and recipe how-tos with every post. It’s great to have another channel to communicate with all of you, and we thank you for watching.

Finding great recipes just got easier with our new custom SEARCH FUNCTION. It allows you to zero in on everything – from meal category to specific ingredients to type of cuisine, and even difficulty level. Now that we’re posting two new recipes EVERY week, this improved search function will make it much easier to find exactly what you need.

Finally, it’s time for us ask a favour. We’d be forever grateful if you would forward this newsletter to EVERYONE you know – family, friends, colleagues, business associates – asking them to SUBSCRIBE to Weekend at the Cottage and join our growing group of fun-loving, tasty-food-eating friends.

Thanking you in advance for visiting our new site and telling everyone about it!

Happy cooking!

I didn’t think you could improve on perfection, yet the new and improved website is EVEN BETTER than the original!

Everything is so well laid out…just a quick click from the main links and I’m off on an amazing cottage adventure.

The photography and videos are so uplifting, they draw you right in and get you motivated to try something new, either in the kitchen or the cottage garden.

    Wahoo Weekend At The Cottage!!!!

    Carol and Nik,
You have done a fabulous job of the website and, although I am not a big cook, I am looking forward to trying some of the recipes. My first one will be the hotdogs, but sorry Nik… no onions.
    Good luck.
    Jim and Sandy
